This Privacy Policy explains how Ringtone Maker & Music Editor handles information when you use the app.
By using the app, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Who we are
The App is published as Ringtone Maker & Music Editor. For privacy questions or requests, contact:
michealbright171189@gmail.com.
2. Summary
We do not require you to create an account to use the App.
Audio, video, and files you process are handled on your device unless you choose features that need the internet (for example, fetching media from a link).
The App shows ads through Google Mobile Ads (AdMob), which may collect device and usage-related data as described in Google’s policies.
When you use “TikTok link” features, the link you enter is sent to a third-party service to obtain media metadata or downloads; that service operates under its own terms and privacy practices.
2.1 Google Play Data Safety summary
Data collected by third parties: Advertising/analytics-related data may be collected by Google Mobile Ads (AdMob), including identifiers and ad interaction information, subject to Google policies and your device settings.
Data you provide: Links (URLs) and files are processed when you actively use related features.
Data sharing: URLs you submit for link-based media features may be transmitted to third-party media-resolution services to provide requested functionality.
Security: Data transmission for network features is intended to use modern transport security (HTTPS) where supported by upstream services.
Deletion: You can delete locally exported files from your device at any time; uninstalling the app removes app-local data subject to Android behavior.
3. Information the App processes
3.1 Information you provide
URLs and content you choose: For example, a TikTok or video link you paste for analysis or download.
Files you select: Audio, video, or images you pick from your device for editing, conversion, mixing, or export.
Communications: If you email us (e.g. feedback), we receive the contents of your message and your email address.
3.2 Information collected automatically
Advertising: Google’s advertising SDK may use identifiers (such as an advertising ID where permitted), device information, and ad interaction data to show and measure ads. See Google’s privacy documentation for details.
Network and diagnostics: Basic technical data may be processed when the App contacts servers (for example, when resolving a link or loading ads), including IP address and standard HTTP logs on third-party servers where applicable.
4. How we use information
To provide App features: editing, exporting ringtones, format conversion, mixing, playback, and related tools.
To fulfill link-based features: sending the URL you submit to a third-party API to retrieve playable or downloadable media, when you initiate that action.
To show advertisements and limit fraud or abuse, through Google Mobile Ads.
To respond to your support or feedback messages.
5. Third-party services
The App relies on services we do not control. Their use is subject to their own policies:
Media resolution for TikTok / video links: The App may request media information from third-party endpoints (for example, services that parse public video links). Those requests may include the URL you entered. We do not control how those operators log or process requests; use those features only with content you have the right to use.
Google Play: Distribution and updates are provided by Google; see
Google’s policies.
5.1 Legal basis and purpose (where applicable)
Service delivery: We process data necessary to provide requested app features (for example, parsing a URL you paste).
Legitimate interests: We and our providers may process limited technical data for security, anti-abuse, reliability, and diagnostics.
Consent/choices: Ad personalization and related controls are handled through Google and Android settings where available.
6. Permissions (Android)
The App may request permissions needed for its features. Depending on your device and Android version, these can include:
Internet / network state: To load ads, analyze or download media from links, and use network-dependent features.
Storage / media access: To read and save audio, video, and exported files (including saving ringtones to your library where the system allows).
Modify system settings / ringtone-related capabilities: So you can set a saved sound as a default ringtone, notification, or alarm where the operating system permits and you grant the required system permission.
Modify audio settings: For playback and audio routing during preview or editing.
Phone state (where declared): May be used by advertising or media libraries for compatibility or ad delivery, depending on device and SDK behavior.
Advertising ID (where applicable): Used in connection with personalized or measurement features as allowed by Google and your device settings.
You can review or change permissions in your device Settings → Apps → Ringtone Maker & Music Editor → Permissions. Some features will not work without the permissions they require.
7. Data retention
Content you create or export is stored on your device (or in your chosen cloud backup if your phone backs up app data), according to your device settings.
We do not operate a central user database for normal App use. Emails you send us may be retained as needed to respond and improve the App.
Ad partners may retain data under their own retention rules.
7.1 Data deletion requests
Because most editing and export activity is performed on-device, there is generally no central account record to delete.
If you sent us an email and want us to remove that communication history where legally permitted, contact
michealbright171189@gmail.com.
8. Children’s privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it where required.
9. Your choices
Ads: On many devices you can reset or limit the advertising ID in system settings (e.g. Google / Ads settings).
Link features: Avoid pasting links if you do not want a URL sent to third-party resolvers.
Uninstall: Removing the App removes App data from your device subject to Android and manufacturer behavior.
10. International users
If you use the App from outside your home country, information may be processed in countries where service providers (including Google and link-resolution services) operate.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top will change when we do.
Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
